We are off to a cold start this morning. Make sure you and the kiddos are dressed warmly. Under decreasing clouds, temperatures will reach the mid 40s this afternoon. Prepare yourself for another icy cold night across the ArkLaMiss. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid to upper 20s. It turns briefly warmer on Wednesday with highs reaching the mid 50s. We keep the forecast area dry throughout the day. However, another storm system will bring showers to the region Wednesday night through Thursday. Highs on Thursday will be near 50 degrees. Milder, drier weather returns over the weekend as high pressure builds. By Sunday, temperatures will make a run for the low 60s. A dry cold front is cooling us back down early next week.
