A Kelowna man has been found guilty of a brutal attack on a teenager that occurred on the popular Okanagan Rail Trail.
Justin Radis, 37, was convicted Monday of aggravated assault and robbery. A Gladue report to assess his Indigenous background for the purposes of sentencing was ordered by the court.
A date for his sentencing will be set on Feb. 9 and he remains in custody, the BC Prosecution Service said.
The 17-year-old victim of the attack suffered a collapsed lung, fractured ribs, concussion, fractured nose, and various cuts and bruises, court heard in September during Radis’ trial.
