Hair today, hair tomorrow: Ridgefield stylist has been in the business for 50 years and has no plans to retire

RIDGEFIELD — Back in the swinging, stylish late 1960s, teenager Renee Riggins faced her mane in the mirror and disliked what she saw.

Her hair was “grayish, ashy brown,” she said.

“I always wanted it lighter,” Riggins said.
