Three major UK cities could be hit by snow this week as the remainder of the country is lashed with rain. According to WXCharts.com , Dundee, Newcastle and Blackpool could all see snow of around 1cm per hour through Friday evening (December 5) with much of the country likely to see heavy rain .
From Friday afternoon onwards, a wall of rain will move eastwards from the Atlantic , with more than an inch of rain expected to fall each hour in large parts of the country. Northern Ireland , Birmingham and Southampton are likely to be amongst the worst hit as November’s wet weather continues into December.
