Dave Coulier is embarking on another health battle.

Less than a year after the Full House star beat his diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he shared he was diagnosed with HPV-related oropharyngeal tongue cancer in October.

“It is a shock to the system,” Dave admitted to Today Dec. 2. “ To go through chemotherapy and feel that relief of whoa, it’s gone, and then to get a test that says, well now you’ve got another kind of cancer.”

The 66-year-old—who has been married to Melissa Bring since 2014—admitted it had been a “really tough” year, noting that his latest diagnosis was found by a chance discovery during a follow-up scan.
