Fans of Coronation Street and Emmerdale have already started posting their theories about what might happen when the two ITV soaps cross over for a special episode

Emmerdale fans have been left "worried" about what might happen to a certain character in the soap's upcoming crossover with Coronation Street . The two ITV programmes will collide in January for a special television event, and while very little is known at this stage, a trailer was recently released that teased utter chaos .

In a teaser trailer released on YouTube on 1 December, it is revealed that Corriedale will focus on the aftermath of a disastrous multi-vehicle pile up that involves several of each soaps' favourite characters. Characters from each soap are in their own vehicles when they collide on a dark country
