HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Multiple power outages across Oahu were reported early Tuesday morning, leaving over a thousand residents without power.
The outages were reported at 2:14 a.m. on Tuesday with an estimated restoration time at 5:30 a.m. for one of the outages, said Hawaiian Electric.
Hawaiian Electric said there are 5 separate outages, with 1,460 customers impacted in Ala Moana, Alewa Heights, Aliamanu, Foster Village, Kakaako, Kalihi, Kalihi Valley, Kamehameha Heights, Liliha, McCully, Moanalua, Moiliili, Palama, Salt Lake, and Waikiki.
One of the outages is affecting 769 customers in Alewa Heights, Kalihi, Kalihi Valley, Kamehameha Heights, Liliha, and Palama.
Another separate outage is affecting 688 customers in Aliamanu, Foster Village, Moanalua, and Salt Lake areas.
