YouTube is getting in on the end-of-year stats-sharing craze with its new Recap feature, which collects highlights from your 2025 watching habits. A Recap plays like a reel and is divided into sections like Personality Type and, for people in the US, Your YouTube Award.

The feature is distinct from the existing YouTube Music Recap , though if you've listened to 10 hours of music on YouTube, you'll get a Music Recap as well. Google said the Recaps are available to most people except for children and supervised accounts.

Meanwhile, the most anticipated recap feature of all -- Spotify Wrapped -- is also due to appear this week.
