RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - On Friday we are monitoring the potential for some light snow across much of the area. A system could give us some snow during the day.
This could start soon enough to impact the morning commute.
Until this morning, we were holding Friday the snow/mix chance at 30% but we bumped that up to 60%. Not only has the European computer model trending toward snow for the past 48 hours, but the European ensembles are now trending show more likely light accumulation possible.

At this point we think an inch or two is possible but we’re aware it’s hard to get snow to accumulate in the daytime unless it’s very cold (20s) and/or the precipitation is heavy. Neither one of those options are in play with th
