FREELAND, Luzerne County — One teenager is dead, and another is injured after an overnight shooting in Luzerne County.

State police say the shooting happened outside of a business in Freeland around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to authorities, an 18-year-old boy died at the hospital. Another 15-year-old boy was struck in the leg; he is expected to survive.

There is no word yet on what led to the deadly shooting.
