Aishah Hasnie will anchor two daytime hours on Saturdays for Fox News Channel after being promoted to anchor and White House correspondent — the latest member of the outlet’s news team to get a new program on the weekends.
Starting January 10, Hasnie will anchor the noon to 2 p.m. shift on Saturdays, replacing “Fox News Live,” which will continue to air on the Sunday schedule. She will start at a White House correspondent this week.
“Aishah’s knowledge of Washington makes her a perfect addition to our stellar White House team of correspondents, and we are confident she will excel in the anchor chair as well,” said Jay Wallace, president and editor of Fox News Media, in a statement.
