LSU redshirt freshman wide receiver Jelani Watkins will enter the transfer portal, according to On3 Sports .

Watkins earned little playing time over two seasons with the Tigers, catching just two passes for 21 yards during his time in Baton Rouge while only playing in five games.

Watkins was a four-star recruit and the No. 28 wide receiver in the nation coming out of high school in the 2024 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. With Watkins and redshirt freshman Kylan Billiot transferring, LSU does not have a wideout recruit from the 2024 class left on its roster.
