Stephen Peveller who is wanted by police

Police are searching for a man who is wanted on prison recall. Stephen Peveller, 50, has links to Wallsend , Whitley Bay , Sunderland and South Tyneside .

Northumbria Police has today urged anyone who knows where Peveller is to get in touch.

A spokesman for the force said: "Members of the public are reminded that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution."

Anyone with information on Peveller’s whereabouts should contact Northumbria Police quoting crime reference number 050545T/25.
