There's bad news for anyone already sick of seeing the snow: it will be sticking around for a few more days.

According to meteorologists with the National Weather Service , temperatures are expected to remain below freezing, which will provide few opportunities for the snow to melt away.

"A lot of what's on the ground isn't going anywhere any time soon," said Mike Ryan, a meteorologist with NWS Indianapolis . "Whatever doesn't melt by tomorrow is going to hang around into the weekend due to the cold weather."
