Snow will start falling in the Denver area early Wednesday morning, stacking up multiple inches as it continues throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
The winter storm expected to start Tuesday in Colorado’s mountains and move into the Denver area after midnight, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, will mark this season’s first impactful snow for the Interstate 25 corridor, weather service forecasters said on social media .
A winter weather advisory will go into effect at midnight and remain active until 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service.
