Rapper Poorstacy has died at 26 following an occurrence at a Florida hotel, PEOPLE reported .
The musician, whose real name is Carlito Milfort Jr., died on Saturday, Nov. 29 after an “incident” that occurred in Boca Raton, Fla., the Boca Raton Police Department told PEOPLE.
Poorstacy was brought to a nearby hospital after police were called to a Boca Raton hotel on Saturday, Billboard reported. He had reportedly been staying at the hotel for about 10 days prior to his death.
The outlet noted that fans have suggested the rapper died by suicide, but his cause of death has not been confirmed. No further details about Poorstacy’s death have been revealed.
