Comedy Gives Back , the non-profit acting as the safety net of the comedy world, has announced a new annual fundraising effort, the Very Good Person Year-End Giving Campaign , intended to help bring further resources to comedians in need.
Donations from the Very Good Person Year-End Giving Campaign will directly benefit the programs and resources of Comedy Gives Back to address the unique challenges faced by comedians, including mental health struggles, physical health and financial instability. Through various initiatives, including therapy grants, financial assistance programs, recovery meetings, and educational workshops, the organization aims to ensure that stand-ups at all stages of their career receive the support they need.
