A paramedic who did not disclose a conviction for killing a pedestrian in South Africa has been suspended.

Bradley Osner started working as a paramedic in London in 2016 after moving to the UK from South Africa.

After an incident when he caused the death of a pedestrian while driving in South Africa, he claimed he was told there would be no further action and the case was closed.

But about five years later, he was contacted by the police.

They told him that they had no record of the case being closed and that it needed to be considered further, Mr Osner told a tribunal.
