ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Widespread steady rain throughout metro Atlanta will slow drivers during their Tuesday morning commute.
Construction crews will continue working on area roadways despite the wet conditions. Most crews will be accompanied by police officers with blue flashing lights, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
GDOT said drivers should use caution and watch for lane closures or shifts when they see the flashing lights.
