Clay, NY — A Clay urgent care center that opened to pediatric care in 2023 is expanding to treat the whole family.

Drakos Urgent Care, inside the Clay Medical Center, is now open to everyone, not just kids, said owner Heather Bianchi.

Since that original location opened, Drakos has expanded with locations in Cicero (Route 31) and Camillus (West Genesee Street) , each of which treat both kids and adults.

Bianchi said her small chain of urgent cares has embraced a model of “care for the whole family” in a single office visit. Because illnesses typically pass between family members, Drakos providers see entire households at once.

It made no sense to turn away adults who arrived in Clay with a sick child and were also sick themselves, Bianchi said. She knew of families that would come
