A developer is helping students be seen as they walk.
Barratt and David Wilson Homes gifted Thurston Church of England Primary Academy, in Thurston, with 30 hi-vis kit bags for Road Safety Week, which was held from November 16 to 22.
Road Safety Week is led by the charity Brake and aims to encourage people to reduce the amount of collisions on the road and protect lives by raising awareness.
The bags were given out by the homebuilder to help prevent accidents while students walk to school at dusk or dawn.
This comes after about 30,000 people were killed or seriously injured on UK roads in 2024.
