AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A former CSRA resident who was wanted in connection to a Florida DUI death was caught on Monday, according to authorities.
Jacksonville Beach police says Robin Nikolas McAlarney was arrested in the southern area of Philadelphia on Monday around 4:30 p.m. by the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
He is currently awaiting extradition to Florida, according to police.
Jacksonville Beach police issued an arrest warrant on Oct. 21 for McAlarney, who’s now about 30 years old.
He is charged with driving under the influence and DUI manslaughter, according to police in Florida.
It’s all connected to a May 17 fatal motorcycle crash near Third Street South and St. Augustine Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach .
McAlarney was the driver of a motorcycle and Tara Michelle Shaw, 22
