A 29-year-old man was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds early Saturday morning in north Phoenix, Phoenix Police detectives said in a release.

Police responded to reports of an injured man near 19 th Avenue and West Thunderbird Road about 1:50 a.m. Nov. 29. The man, later identified as Andreas Samual Olguin, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel, according to the release.

Homicide detectives have assumed the investigation, which remains active.
