An up-and-coming rapper has been found dead in Florida.
Carlito Milfort Jr., better known by his rap name POORSTACY, was found dead at a hotel in Boca Raton, according to a report by TMZ that was later confirmed by the Boca Raton Police Department.
He was 26. Cause of death was not revealed, but fans were flooding the rapper’s Instagram with comments implying that he died by suicide.
Known for blending several genres including hip hop, punk rock and heavy metal, he released two studio albums, two EPs, and was featured on the Grammy Award nominated soundtrack for “Bill & Ted Face the Music.”
His unique sound allowed him to collaborate with stars like Travis Barker and Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes.
His most recent song, “Nothing belongs to you” was released in July.
