Remi Bader is still adjusting to life two years after her weight loss surgery.
“I struggle eating every day,” Bader, 30, shared on the Monday, December 1, episode of “The Toast” podcast. “I forget that you can’t have water and food in between 30 minutes for the rest of your life and I’ll be unwell. There’s just a lot to learn and I’m still figuring that out.”
In December 2023, the influencer opted for a procedure called the single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy (SADI-S), which connects the stomach to the lower small intestine. According to the Mayo Clinic, this ensures “less time and distance for the body to absorb fat and calories.”
While Bader told host Claudia Oshry that she feels better and healthier after the surgery, there are still things she struggles
