OSCODA – The 20th annual Northern Lights Parade in Oscoda is set for Saturday, Dec. 6, starting at 6 p.m.

Hosted by the Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce, the parade travels south on US-23 from Furtaw Field down to Mill Street then over the Mill Street Bridge. Deadline to enter is Thursday, Dec. 4.

All parade entrants will line up at Furtaw Field beginning at 5:15 p.m. Judging will be throughout the parade, entries will receive awards for “Best in Glow,” “Most Creative” and “Best Overall.”

Applications are available at the Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce office, 4440 N. US-23, Wednesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as at the chamber website, oscodachamber.com , or by calling 989-739-7322. There are no fees or cost to participate.
