The following is the second of a two-part story on the preliminary examination that was recently held for Melissa Christine Ragen, 32, AuSable Township. Part one, which ran in last week’s publication, summarized the testimony of Isabella Smith and Oscoda Township Police Department (OTPD) Officer Daniel Ploof. The focus of the second segment, is on the testimony provided by OTPD Officer Dwayne Meyer and Detective/Sergeant Curtis Hall, as well as the closing arguments of the defense and prosecution .
