AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - 19 News is learning more on the criminal history of the 38-year-old man charged with brutally murdering an Akron mother.

Records show Gregory Tillman remains locked up Tuesday in the Summit County Jail on charges of murder, felonious assault, weapons under disability, domestic violence and vandalism.

Taking a closer took, 19 News has uncovered that Tillman has a criminal history dating back decades.

Records show the Lorain man faced weapons and drug charges as early as 2005.

He has pleaded guilty at least twice to charges of domestic violence, according to the records.
