The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 11:54 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 6 p.m. for Oneida, Madison, Chenango, Otsego, Broome and Delaware counties.
"Additional snow accumulations up to two inches," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "The snow will be ending from west to east later this afternoon or early evening. Storm totals will fall in the expected range of 3 to 7 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening commute," comments the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
