Pop star Sabrina Carpenter is blasting the White House after her song was featured in a federal video promoting immigration enforcement.
The clip used lyrics from Carpenter’s track "Juno" shows repeated scenes of ICE officers arresting multiple people, and was shared by the White House Monday, Dec. 1.
The lyrics are, "Have you ever tried, this one?"
Carpenter is known for "arresting" people, usually celebrities, at her concerts for "being too hot." She also strikes different sex positions to the same lyrics.
Carpenter, who hails from Quakertown, PA, responded directly, posting a sharp statement on X at 10:25 a.m.
“This video is evil and disgusting," she said. "Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda."
Carpenter's tweet had been viewed 2M times in the two hours since it was sent out.
The White House later clapped back with the following message to Zeteo:
“Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: We won’t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?”
