One person is dead in a three-vehicle collision at approximately 3:48 p.m. Dec. 1, at the intersection of Northern Ave. and Prairie Avenue.

One person was killed, and another sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The person killed and the injured party were in different vehicles, according to Pueblo police spokesperson Antoinette Ramos.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, but say that drugs and alcohol were not a factor. Police are investigating other factors in the crash.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner when the next-of-kin have been notified.

The intersection was closed throughout the night but had been reopened as of 8 a.m. on Dec. 2, operating as a four-way stop.
