BAY CITY, MI – “Santa Claus” paid an early visit to the Bay City Commission this year to announce that Bay City Bridge Partners (BCBP) is on his naughty list.

Dressed as Saint Nick, resident Jeff Reed spoke during the public comment portion of the commission’s meeting on Monday, Dec. 1, to criticize the company, citing bridge toll rates.

“I came here tonight to share a nice little Christmas story with everybody, and like every nice little Christmas story, there’s always a happy ending,” Reed said. “The happy end of the story is when we bankrupt the Bay City Bridge Partners.”

He also called for continued boycotts of the company and displayed a “naughty list” sign bearing the company’s name.
