CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is for giving back instead of spending, whether that’s giving blood, helping a neighbor out, or donating to charities and nonprofits.

The Piedmont Housing Alliance is hosting a Giving Tuesday lunch and art tour event. Members of the community will get to see the artwork chosen by the residents, and they will even get the chance to commission their own piece.
