Leyton Orient have announced the appointment of Populous as their designers for a brand new stadium.

League One side Orient have played at Brisbane Road, known as the BetWright Stadium for sponsorship reasons, since 1937.

However, the O's have worked with the London Borough of Waltham Forest Council to discuss options for a new site in north east London.

The EFL club are aiming to build a new 'world-class stadium', as well as a 'wider, multi-sport campus'.

It will become the new home of the club's men's and women's teams, as well as a London American Football team.

And Populous, who designed Wembley Stadium and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, have been called in to lead the project.
