A 76-year-old woman was treated in hospital after being involved in a hit-and-run while crossing the road at an intersection in the Hespeler area of Cambridge.
Waterloo Regional Police said the incident occurred on Sunday, at about 2 p.m., when the woman was crossing at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Jamieson Parkway, and was hit by a pickup truck that continued northbound on Franklin Boulevard.
The woman sustained physical injuries, police said, and they continue to investigate the incident.
