UDALL, Kan. (KAKE) – Two people were injured Monday afternoon when a car left the roadway and struck a bridge in Cowley County.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 3:40 p.m. to a report of reckless driving on K-15 Highway just west of Udall. While responding, they were advised that the vehicle had crashed near K-15 and 41st Road.
The vehicle went off the road and struck a bridge, veered to the north, and drove into a ditch. Udall Police Chief Eric King was first on scene and reported both passengers were alive. Crews from the Udall Fire Department, Winfield Fire/EMS, and the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
