DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KAIT) – A former Mississippi County sheriff’s deputy awaiting trial for rape in Arkansas has been convicted of similar charges in Missouri.
On Nov. 25, in the 35 th Judicial Circuit Court of Dunklin County, Colton Langley Crabb of Blytheville pleaded guilty to second-degree statutory rape and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Judge Robert Mayer sentenced Crabb to 7 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the rape charge and 9 years in the DOC on the second charge. Both counts are to run concurrently with any sentence received in Arkansas.
According to court documents, Crabb’s Arkansas trial is set for Jan. 5-9 with a motion and plea day on Dec. 4.
