According to Cornwall police, the arrest was made as part of Project Fester, which recently led to a number of charges in relation to a smuggling ring operating in Cornwall, Akwesasne, and Ottawa. Article content

Police alleged that Duplantie sold drugs to an undercover officer. On Nov. 30 he was located by a CPS officer on general patrol. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
