BRYAN, Ohio (WTVG) - State police have identified a 32-year-old driver accused of hitting an Amish buggy and fleeing the scene more than two weeks ago in Williams County, leaving a family with serious injuries and mounting medical bills.
The crash happened in Center Township on County Road G near County Road 10. Body camera footage shows state troopers arriving at the scene after the buggy was hit from behind by a truck.
The pregnant woman in the buggy was forced to deliver her baby two months early, and her other two children were seriously injured. Body camera audio captured a trooper saying, “A baby over there has a deep gash on his head.”
