COLUMBUS, Ind. – Vickie Michael has announced her intent to run for Bartholomew County Auditor in the 2026 election on Tuesday, December 2.

Michael currently serves as the Employee Resource Administrator for Bartholomew County, reporting directly to the Board of Commissioners and working closely with departments across county government. She previously worked for three years in the Bartholomew County Auditor’s Office, beginning in Deductions and later moving to Payroll. Before joining the county government, Michael spent over 30 years as the General Manager of her family’s business, Skooter’s Family Restaurant.
