Syracuse, N.Y. ― Two teens have been indicted for the murder of a Syracuse man in June on the city’s East Side.

Alijah Barroso, 16, and Noelle Cummings, 17, are accused of fatally shooting Juan J. Rodriguez Jr. , 22, on June 8, according to an indictment filed in Onondaga County Court.

Rodriguez was shot on the 200 block of Westmoreland Avenue around 6:10 p.m.

Five months later, Barroso and Cummings were indicted on charges of second-degree murder and three counts of second-degree possession of a weapon in connection with the homicide.

The two teens were already facing an indictment for a separate incident that happened a month after the homicide.

The two teens were arrested in August and charged with attempted murder after shots were fired on July 25 on the 100 block of Lincoln
