WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A man is dead after a crash in Williamsport.

Authorities say a motorcyclist traveling North on Market Street Monday evening was struck by a sedan merging into the single lane.

The crash then threw the motorcyclist, identified as Drew Geier, 33, into the oncoming lane of travel, where he was hit by an SUV, according to the coroner's office.

Geier was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The deadly crash remains under investigation in Williamsport.
