A seven-point weekend, punctuated by an overtime winner on Saturday evening, helped Sudbury Wolves winger Kieron Walton to net his second Cogeco OHL Player of the Week honour this season.

A signed prospect of the Winnipeg Jets, the 6-foot-6, 227-pound Toronto native scored four goals and added three assists to help the Wolves take four of six points during a challenging three-in-three weekend.

Walton started the week with his fourth multi-goal performance of the season, adding an assist as the Wolves doubled up the visiting Barrie Colts 6-3 last Friday. He then set up Artem Gonchar’s game-tying goal midway through the second period in Brampton on Saturday before scoring the unassisted overtime winner to secure a 2-1 decision .
