STATEN ISLAND, NY -- Assemblyman Charles D. Fall joined a community-wide effort that collected enough toys to reach every child at Silver Lake Preschool and Nursery in Clifton.
The toy drive gathered gifts for all 111 students at the school through contributions from local families, donors across Staten Island, and supporters from outside the borough. Staten Island resident Isabella Mazzaro led the initiative with support from Transformation Fitness.
Brian “Q” Quinn of the television show Impractical Jokers helped expand the reach of the campaign by promoting it to a national audience, which boosted donations and ensured every child received a gift.
