COLUMBIA, S.C. — A new dining concept is coming to Columbia's Five Points entertainment district.

The Foundry Group has announced that Slip 53, an oyster bar and seafood restaurant, will be opening mid-Spring 2026 in the former Pecknel Music Company building at 732 Saluda Ave.

“Five Points has been a gathering place that brings people together for a very long time, and we’re honored to build on that legacy,” says Steve Cook, executive vice president of The Foundry Group. “Slip 53 will bring innovative and modern coastal flavors and a welcoming, laid-back dining experience to the heart of Five Points.”

Slip 53 will feature a raw bar, hot and cold seafood preparations, a private dining suite, valet service and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
