For sale: theme park, never opened.
That’s right, folks, you (probably) heard it here first. South Seattle’s Dragon Land is up for sale.
Why it’s on the market, or precisely how much they’re asking, remains unclear at the moment. A mystery. Sort of like Dragon Land itself.
But sometime in the last few weeks, the property owners set up a large for-sale sign on the southeast corner of their vacant lot at 5059 Wilson Ave. S., in Seattle’s Seward Park neighborhood.
“Shovel Ready 32 Unit Development Site Available,” it says.
Simultaneously, though, the guerrilla community art exhibit known as Dragon Land has been growing at a steady clip, accumulating more and more creative flotsam and jetsam from around the city.
