Orlando City re-signed captain Robin Jansson to a contract extension through the 2027 season on Monday.

The 33-year-old Swedish defender has been with the club since 2019, recording six goals and four assists in 193 MLS matches. He is the club's all-time leader with 238 appearances across all competitions.

"Robin has been the heartbeat of this team for years," general manager and sporting director Ricardo Moreira said. "His leadership on and off the field sets the standard for what it means to wear our badge.
