COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Foundry Group will debut the new restaurant, Slip 53, in 2026.

The Foundry Group announced the restaurant will be a modern oyster bar and seafood concept led by Midlands restaurateurs Steve Cook and Casey Peissel. Set to open in mid-spring 2026 at 732 Saluda Avenue, the former Pecknel Music Company location in Five Points.

The space is currently undergoing renovation. “Slip 53 will bring innovative and modern coastal flavors and a welcoming, laid-back dining experience to the heart of Five Points,” said Steve Cook.

Additional details, including the grand opening date, menu offerings, and design features, will be revealed as renovations progress.
