Applications are open for the city of Fort Wayne’s 2026 FORT-ify Neighborhood Accelerator, a leadership program that supports new, re-launching, and developing neighborhood associations.

The goal, according to a news release today , is to help them strengthen communities and create positive changes.

"Whether it’s creating safer streets or hosting events, we want to help them build on their assets," said Réna Bradley, program manager and neighborhood planner with the city.

Information and applications are available at Engage.CityofFortWayne.org/Fortify . Applications are due before midnight Jan. 31, 2026, the news release said.

Neighborhood associations that are registered with the city are eligible to apply and two will be selected.
