The driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thanksgiving Eve in Bergen County has been identified as a 19-year-old college student from Fair Lawn.

Alex Popov was driving a car that overturned about 10:18 p.m. Wednesday on the southbound side of Route 208 in the area of Saddle River Road in Fair Lawn, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Popov was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 11 p.m., investigators said.

According to a GoFundMe , Popov was a second-year computer-science student at Bergen Community College.
